Author Guidelines
Manuscripts submitted to Journal of Society and Scientific Studies may be written in either standard Bahasa Indonesia or English, following appropriate academic conventions.
Manuscript Format and Structure

Manuscripts should be between 7 to 15 pages in length, typed on A4-sized paper, with the following margin settings: top 2.5 cm, bottom 2.5 cm, left 2.5 cm, and right 2.5 cm.

The manuscript should be typed in single spacing, justified alignment, and use a single-column layout.

The main structure of the manuscript should include the following sections:

Method

Results and Discussion

Conclusions and Suggestions

References

Title, Author Information, and Abstract

The title should be concise, specific, and reflect the core content of the article.

The author’s name(s) should be placed directly below the title, followed by institutional affiliation and an active email address.

The abstract must be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, with a maximum of 250 words for each version. It should be written in narrative form, clearly stating the objective, method, and main findings of the study.

Keywords should consist of 3 to 5 important words or phrases that reflect the core subject of the article.
Writing Style and References

The manuscript must follow the APA Style for writing and citation.

The reference list should include relevant scholarly sources (both journal and non-journal), primarily from the last five years, unless citing classic or foundational works that remain relevant.
Template and Submission Process

Manuscripts must be formatted according to the official Journal of Society and Scientific Studies template.

Submit your manuscript in .doc or .docx format via the online submission system (Open Journal System/OJS).

Author Identity and Correspondence

The corresponding author must complete all author details (full name, email, institutional affiliation, and short biography) in the metadata form during submission.

If there are multiple authors, click "Add Author" on the Enter Metadata step to input each author's data.

All communication, editorial notifications, and decisions will be sent via the email address provided at submission.

Authors can track the status of their manuscript directly by logging into their account on the journal’s OJS system.
