Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Society and Scientific Studies undergo a blind peer review process, in which the identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure objectivity and the integrity of scientific evaluation.

Review Stages:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team conducts an initial assessment to evaluate the manuscript’s alignment with the journal’s focus and scope, completeness of required components, adherence to ethical standards, and compliance with formatting and style guidelines. Manuscripts that fail to meet basic requirements may be rejected without further review.

  2. Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least one independent reviewer with expertise relevant to the subject matter. Reviewers are selected based on academic competence, research experience, and absence of conflicts of interest.

  3. Manuscript Evaluation by Reviewer
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:

    • Originality and scholarly contribution

    • Methodological soundness and clarity of analysis

    • Coherence and clarity of argumentation

    • Relevance and use of supporting literature

    • Significance of findings and research implications

  4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewer’s report, the editor will decide on the manuscript status, choosing one of the following outcomes:

    • Accepted without revision

    • Accepted with minor revisions

    • Requires major revisions

    • Rejected

  5. Revision and Resubmission
If revisions are requested, authors are required to submit the revised manuscript along with a response letter addressing the reviewer’s comments. The revised manuscript may be returned to the reviewer for a second round of evaluation.

  6. Final Decision and Publication
The editor will make the final decision based on the quality of the revised submission. Accepted manuscripts will proceed to final editing (copyediting) and layout formatting before publication.

Journal of Society and Scientific Studies is committed to maintaining a fair, objective, and timely review process to ensure the quality and credibility of the scientific work it publishes.
