The concept of sa'adah ,happiness, thematic hadithsAbstrak
Humans are created by Allah Swt. with extraordinary gifts. They are given reason, making humans creatures with a higher existence compared to other beings. Some people believe that happiness can be measured precisely when someone has a lot of material wealth, the power they have achieved (throne), as well as rank and fame. In fact, in pursuing happiness, it is not uncommon for people to take steps that are not commendable. Even though, in truth, the way to achieve happiness has been explained by Allah Swt. in His holy book. Based on the explanation above, the issues can be formulated as follows: What is the classification of Sa’adah in hadith?, What are the parts and characteristics of Sa’adah?, and What is the Asbabun Nuzul in Sa’adah? This study aims to understand the classification of Sa’adah in hadith, the parts of Sa’adah, as well as the Asbabun Nuzul of Sa’adah. This study is a library research, meaning it is conducted by reviewing various literature sources related to the concept of sa'adah (happiness) in the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The research data was obtained from hadith books, hadith commentary books, books on hadith sciences, tafsir, as well as relevant scientific books and articles. Happiness (sa'adah) from the perspective of hadith is the peace of mind and contentment of the heart that comes from the integration of fulfilling lawful physical needs and spiritual closeness to Allah SWT. According to Islamic views, happiness allows humans to feel at peace in this world and the hereafter. Happiness comes from two sources; knowledge and good deeds that can be obtained from an early age. The stages of happiness discussed show that humans can use it as a final goal to achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter.
